Create your owns graphismes:
Whe nyou Build a level think that creating new graphismes is difficult,
and that it is long to download theses graphismes, taht the use of the
level is more difficult.
EDITART can import .BMP , .PCX ou .GIF pictures in Tiles***.art files.
(The file DUKE3D.GRP must be decompressed in the directory
of EDITART.)
You must create a picture and save it as .gif .bmp or .pcx.
Run EDITART. After few seconds you will saw the default texture of
Duke Nukem 3D.
Press the key V to see the menu of the textures of the games.
Move in the list, PAGE-UP et PAGE-DOWN. (Each horizontale
line is the limite between two tles0**.art)
The files Tiles014.art and Tiles015.art are for users graphismes.
Choose a place and press [ENTER].
You are now in front of a black screen.
Press the key S: Editart ask you the dimetions of the picture you want
to add.
Then press [U] to select the picture, then [ENTRER]. If the picture
is bigest than the size Editart have asked you, you must select a part
of this image and press [ENTRER], or press directly [ENTER].
The picture you have sellect is now on the screen.
Press the key [N] to give her a name who will be saved in name.h.
(This name will appear in Build with the number of the texture).
To make animations, select the first picture, and press [+] and [-]
to select the type of animation, then press [A] to select speed with keys
[+] and [-].
There are many types of animation; we immagine that there are 4 pictures
(1,2,3,4):
